These inspiring words of Longfellow embody our goal of the Cathedral Concert Series: to promote the performance of music of the highest order in an outstanding visual and acoustical setting.

Cathedral of Christ the King In addition, we seek to provide these concerts not only to the parish community, but to the greater Lexington community for little or no cost. We see this series as a form of outreach to our patrons; a ministry that enriches the culture and nourishes the soul of this community.

The Cathedral of Christ the King's Music Ministry is led by Robert Whitaker, Director of Music, and Brian Hunt, Organist/Assistant Director of Music. The Concert Series is currently in its 16th year. It continues to grow in patrons and numbers of participating ensembles.

We hope you will come and enjoy the musical performances offered by our artists and ensembles. If you are so moved, you may wish to contribute to our Cathedral Endowment Fund, which helps sustain this Concert Series.
